The successful candidate will be expected to develop an active research agenda, resulting in scholarly publications published in reputable journals and conferences; pursuit of external funding to support research endeavors will also be strongly encouraged, and engagement of undergraduate students in research is expected. The successful candidate will be strongly encouraged to pursue opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, both in teaching and research, with a particular focus on opportunities that benefit undergraduate students, with an expectation of active engagement in service activities across the campus and the university, including involvement in committees, initiatives, and projects that contribute to the overall development and mission of the school and the institution. The candidate will be expected to be committed to supporting students from diverse backgrounds, actively enhancing their learning experience, and creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The Mathematics program is part of the Department of Engineering & Mathematics, which is housed in the School of STEM.
