Accounting Clerk

Job Summary A direct hire opportunity is available for an Accounting Clerk in West Columbia, SC within the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities Process routine accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, deposits, and payment records. Assist with general ledger entries, account coding, and month-end accounting support. Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and internal financial records. Maintain organized accounting files, documentation, and transaction records. Research and resolve basic discrepancies while communicating professionally with internal teams and external contacts. Support reporting, audits, and other finance department projects as needed. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity. Salary range: $38,000 to $44,000 per year. Location: West Columbia, SC.
