Accounts Receivable Specialist

A growing property management company in Columbia is seeking a hard working candidate to join their team as an Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager . The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have experience in a collections/AR role.



Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile billing for HOA communities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports for HOAs, including statements of account, balance sheets, and income statements
• Handle collections processes, including issuing late notices, managing payment plans, and working with attorneys for legal actions when necessary
• Interpret and apply HOA governing documents to ensure compliance in all financial matters
• Work closely with other departments within the firm to ensure a cohesive and team-oriented approach to managing HOA's
• Serve as the primary point of contact for HOA boards, maintaining strong and positive relationships. Communicate effectively with attorneys, builders, and courthouses as required
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in billing, collections, and reporting to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 -5 years in accounts receivables/collections
• Experience in property or HOA management a plus
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• $50,000 - $60,000/yr
• PTO offered
