Financial Accounting Assistant

Reporting directly to the Controller, this position within the accounting department will be directly responsible for performing support to various tasks such as financial reporting. The work in data entry, reconciliation and document management ensures the accounting department maintains precise, up-to-date financial records and complies with reporting standards. Responsibilities & Duties Specific Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Assists in posting and in the maintenance of general ledger accounts and performs monthly general ledger closings and adjustments Assists with schedules related to monthly financial statements Assist with & learn all the activities of the Accounting departments Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness, and major variances between actual and Budget results. Use & gain full understanding fo business software including FAMOUS ERP system, Excel, and various other agricultural softwares Assists with inventory reporting and costs processing Other duties as assigned by the CFO and/or Controller Qualifications and Skills ??????? Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree; experience may substitute for education and a year-for-year basis above the minimum experience required.
