Production Operator

Bagger OperatorDay (6am-6pm) and Night (6pm-6am) shift openings, guaranteed 48 hours per week- hiring multiple candidates!Position OverviewThis position is located at Profiles Conover, NC manufacturing plant and reports to the production supervisor. As a bagger operator on the production line, you will rotate positions with your teammates throughout your shift. This will include operating the bagger machine, monitoring finished goods for imperfections in packaging, removing defective bags form the line, cutting bags for reprocessing, hand stacking pallets of 50-pound bags if needed, operating a forklift (once trained and certified) and housekeeping duties as needed.We offer a skills base pay (The more you learn, the more your pay increases)Entry Level $16.00Bagger Level 2 $17.60Master Bagger $19.36Duties and Responsibilities:Operate bagger safely and efficientlyMaintain preset production goals.Remove out-of-spec bags and hand stack for reprocessing.Cut open rejected bales for reprocessingOperate forklift to load and store bags.Perform general housekeeping duties.Perform additional duties as required.Job Requirements:Able to obtain forklift certification (training provided)Education and Experience:Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.Essential Qualifications:Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environmentAbility to think critically and communicate effectivelyTechnical AptitudeLanguage Skills:Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishPhysical Demands:Required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl.Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Work Environment:This position works in a manufacturing setting.Must be able to adapt to the noise level of a manufacturing setting, which is usually moderate to heavy.The temperature will vary from hot to cold, depending on the weather.Dusty environment.About Profile Products:Profile Products is a leading developer and manufacturer of highly engineered specialty agriscience materials that promote environmental sustainability while delivering superior performance for horticulture, erosion control, sports turf and other specialty applications.
