Forklift OperatorWe are seeking dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team in Conover, NC. The ideal candidate has experience operating powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, supplying production lines, and maintaining inventory accuracy while following all company safety standards. Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or electric pallet jack (equipment varies by department)Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks efficiently and safelyTransport raw materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facilityStage materials for production and shipping according to schedulesScan and verify inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systemsPerform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptlyMaintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety guidelinesAssist with inventory counts and stock rotation as neededFollow all OSHA regulations and company safety proceduresSupport warehouse and production operations with additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsAt least 1 year of recent forklift operating experienceAbility to safely operate powered industrial equipmentExperience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, walk, and work throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyReliable attendance and ability to work overtime as neededHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPreferred QualificationsPrevious forklift certification (certification may be provided upon hire)Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systemsExperience operating multiple types of forklifts (Sit-Down, Reach Truck, Stand-Up, Cherry Picker)Shipping and receiving experienceBasic computer skills for inventory trackingCore Competencies Forklift Operation, Material Handling, Warehouse Operations, Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, RF Scanner, Safety Compliance, Loading & Unloading, Manufacturing, Distribution, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Time Management, OSHA Safety Standards, Productivity, Reliability
