Your Role: FSP Case Manager Location: Long Beach Pay: $22.56/Hourly Your Toolkit Should Include: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or a related field; 2 years of social services experience may substitute for the degree At least 2 years of direct service experience working with emotionally disturbed children and/or transitional-age youth 1+ year of case management experience preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand both languages Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation Strong communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, respond calmly to challenges, and collaborate effectively as part of a team Understanding of the emotional, developmental, and cognitive needs of children, youth, and families Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, mandated reporting requirements, and agency policies Your Superpowers Include: Build meaningful relationships with clients and families while helping them work toward their individual goals Provide case management, collateral support, behavioral interventions, developmental education, and resource linkage Meet with clients in their homes, schools, and communities, typically 1-2 times per week or as needed Partner closely with therapists, families, schools, community providers, and other members of the treatment team Help families access resources such as housing, healthcare, social services, extracurricular activities, respite, and other community supports Facilitate and participate in Child and Family Team Meetings and other collaborative planning meetings Teach positive coping skills, support self-advocacy, and help families develop practical strategies for navigating challenges Complete required assessments, progress notes, outcome measures, flex-fund requests, referrals, and other documentation in a timely manner Advocate for client and family rights, safety, and access to appropriate services Collaborate with the treatment team to monitor progress, identify changing needs, and support successful transitions and discharge planning Maintain approximately 80% billable service delivery (26 hours per week) Participate in staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and professional development opportunities Help connect families with the tools, resources, and support systems they need to thrive Perks That Pack a Punch: Vacation & Wellness Days Elevate University for career growth Referral rewards that actually reward DEI Non-Profit of the Year - and we live it every day.
