Research Associate / Talent Resourcer

Research Associate / Talent Resourcer Location: New York (Hybrid) Compensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission About the Role Oakleaf Partnership is a global boutique search and recruitment firm specializing in senior-level talent across Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Functions. We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Research Associate / Talent Resourcer to support our US search team. This role will partner closely with senior consultants on retained and contingent searches, helping identify, engage, and map talent across a range of industries including Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Financial Services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in executive search and talent consulting. Key Responsibilities Conduct market mapping and talent identification projects. Build target company lists and candidate pipelines. Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, referrals, and direct research. Support candidate outreach and initial engagement. Maintain accurate records within our CRM and ATS systems. Prepare candidate summaries, search reports, and client briefing materials. Track market intelligence, hiring trends, and competitor activity. Work alongside senior consultants on retained executive search assignments. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in recruitment, executive search, research, sourcing, or talent acquisition preferred. Strong LinkedIn and online research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Curious, proactive, and comfortable speaking with senior professionals.
