Business Analyst III

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead and facilitate the integration of Global Trade, Supply Chain, IT, and vendor teams for complex enterprise system implementations. In this role, you will be responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements, mapping current and future business processes (including FTZ and GTM capabilities), and translating business needs into actionable functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria. You will facilitate workshops to define MVP, must-have, and future-state capabilities, partner with solution vendors and implementation partners, analyze system impacts, and support data mapping and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Agile and Hybrid project environments, stakeholder management, facilitation, and documentation, as well as proficiency in Mural and JIRA. High emotional intelligence, clear communication, and the ability to build trust and structure in complex, cross-functional environments are essential for success in this role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Bridge communication and collaboration between Global Trade, Supply Chain, IT, vendors (QAD/KPMG), and integration teams.
• Lead business requirements elicitation sessions with cross-functional stakeholders including Trade, Compliance, Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, Finance, and IT.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes for FTZ and GTM capabilities.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops to define MVP, must-have, and future-state capabilities.
• Partner with solution vendors and implementation partners to evaluate system capabilities and identify process gaps.
• Analyze impacts to upstream and downstream systems, integrations, reports, and operational procedures.
• Support data mapping activities across source systems, interfaces, and reporting requirements.
• Assist in defining master data, compliance data, trade classifications, inventory, customs, and shipment-related requirements.
• Create and maintain process documentation, requirements traceability, decision logs, and project artifacts.
• Facilitate meetings with leaders and subject matter experts, ensuring clear and concise communication.
• Bring structure to ambiguous discussions and quickly establish trust across business and technology teams.
• Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor, not just a note-taker.
• Utilize tools such as Mural and JIRA for documentation and project tracking.
• Drive work forward proactively, demonstrating resourcefulness, collaboration, and a commitment to project success.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of business analysis experience leading medium to large enterprise system implementations.
• Experience working in Agile and Hybrid project delivery environments.
• Proven ability to gather requirements across multiple business functions.
• Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Inventory Management, Customs, Trade Compliance, or Retail processes.
• Strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Mural and JIRA.
• Resourceful, proactive, and collaborative approach to driving work forward.
• High emotional intelligence and strong self-awareness.
• Confident in facilitating meetings with leaders and subject matter experts.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Ability to respectfully challenge assumptions and bring structure to ambiguous discussions.
• Quickly establishes trust across business and technology teams.
• Develops strong partnerships with stakeholders with competing priorities.
• Recognized as a trusted advisor, not just a note-taker.
