Fractional CFO / Accounting Team Lead - Our client seeks an experienced Accountant to serve as the bridge between high-level financial strategy and operational excellence.
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity where you will earn up to $120,000, depending on your experience. You will work Monday during the day in a hybrid schedule. Plus enjoy an excellent benefits package!
Some of your responsibilities as Fractional CFO / Accounting Lead will include consulting with small wealth advisors as well as:
- Lead monthly financial review meetings with client stakeholders
- Leading/overseeing team of 9-10
- Acting as primary financial advisor for a portfolio of clients, providing insights on cash flow management, profitability and growth strategies
- Overseeing budget preparation
- Financial forecasting
- Mentoring and training to junior and staff accountants
- Reviewing work papers, reconciliations and financial statements
- Overseeing team capacity
- Delegating tasks effectively
- Implementing and optimizing accounting tech stacks (QuickBooks, Sage, etc) for clients
- Other duties as assigned
To qualify for the Fractional CFO / Accounting Team Lead, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role (public accounting or multi-client outsourced experience preferred)
- Strong cloud-based accounting software
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and financial modeling)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to explain the numbers to non-financial business owners
