If this sounds like you, then you might be the idealcandidate for the Administrative Specialist Senior position open in the Louisville Trial Office of the KentuckyDepartment of Public Advocacy. In this important role in Kentucky's largest criminal defense firm, you will be acting as both a liaisonbetween attorneys, clients, and other members of the community, as well as an administrative assistant to theoffice's supervisor. You will also be expected to draft and edit a variety of documents and reports soexcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are preferred. Time management skills are alsovalued as the ideal candidate will be handling multiple time-sensitive tasks for various attorneys. Theideal candidate would also be able to prioritize and complete requested duties independently.Our clients are people not able to afford an attorney who the government has charged with criminal offenses. Compassion for our clients and a commitment to our mission are critical characteristics for the successfulcandidate. A pleasant, outgoing personality both in-person and on the phone are also highly desirable traits for thisposition.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Drafting service contracts.
- Preparing correspondence.
- Data entry.
- Answering phones.
- Greeting clients as needed.
- Preparing and distributing monthly reports.
