Where We Are: University of Louisville Health Frazier Rehab Hospital-Brownsboro is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. We strive to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

- Ability to perform accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations, journal entries (e.g., accrued, recurring), payroll weekly reports, general ledger, financial analysis, account reconciliations, month end close.
- Maximize the collection of medical services payments and reimbursements from patients, insurance carriers, and other sources of payment. Proactively identify, communicate, and establish processes to mitigate any risks to the revenue cycle process.
- Utilize web-based tools and other available resources to facilitate providing insurance companies with required information.
- Utilize multiple information systems to accurately select the correct patient account in order to appropriately review and verify patient billable charges.
- Participate in and assist with audits to capture lost charges and determine the accuracy of billing as necessary.
- May be the primary payroll processor for the hospital, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and timely.
- Various projects and tasks as requested.
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience.
- Accounts Receivable and general accounting experience.
- Must be able to deal professionally with patients, physicians, visitors, and the general public.
- Must possess a high degree of analytical ability and strategic thinking.
