Job Responsibilities

• Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft tailored therapy regimens that empower them to reach their rehabilitation goals
• Implement Therapeutic Actions: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate in Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver all-encompassing care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers through therapy techniques to promote sustained progress outside the clinical setting
• Track and Adapt Treatment Outcomes: Monitor clinical progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery pathways

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education efforts or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
