Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM
Pay: $48,000–$52,000 annually

As the Inventory Supervisor at Beehive Meals, you will oversee daily inventory operations while leading a team responsible for supporting meal preparation and packaging activities. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient production support, and upholding food safety and quality standards throughout the distribution process. • Supervise and lead a team of Inventory Team Members in the preparation and packaging of meals.
• Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to ensure inventory tasks are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Set clear expectations, assign responsibilities, and monitor daily workflow to achieve production goals.
• Motivate, mentor, and support team members while fostering a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and recognize outstanding performance.
• Coordinate training and skill development to ensure consistency and best practices throughout inventory operations.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and open communication across the department.

• Oversee daily inventory activities, including receiving, counting, storing, rotating, and issuing products.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, inventory levels, production reports, and incident documentation.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, shortages, and variances through physical counts and transaction reviews.
• Implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and prevent recurring issues.
• Ensure inventory is stored and rotated using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) procedures to maintain product quality and minimize waste.

• Follow all Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, food safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and company policies.
• Ensure team members maintain proper hygiene practices, including handwashing and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep workstations, storage areas, and equipment clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
• Lead by example in maintaining compliance with food safety and quality standards.

• Follow and enforce all workplace safety policies, SQF requirements, OSHA regulations, and company procedures.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring team members follow established safety practices.
• Immediately report safety hazards, equipment concerns, incidents, or injuries to leadership.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and inventory operations.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience leading or supervising a team , including scheduling work, assigning responsibilities, training employees, and providing performance feedback.
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, receiving, or material handling ; experience in a food-production environment preferred.
• Experience investigating inventory discrepancies and shortages, conducting physical or cycle counts, and reconciling inventory records.
• Basic proficiency with computers and inventory management systems, barcode scanners, spreadsheets, or similar technology.
• Ability to accurately count inventory, document quantities and inventory transactions, and perform basic math calculations.
• Working knowledge of First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory rotation and proper product storage practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and commitment to meeting production schedules.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler Permit in accordance with state regulations.

Preferred:

• Experience supervising inventory operations within a food manufacturing, food production, or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of food-production processes, sanitation practices, and food safety standards such as SQF or GMP .
• Experience implementing process improvements that increase inventory accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.

• Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently use hands and fingers to handle inventory, food products, tools, and equipment.
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements throughout the workday.
• Reach, bend, twist, and work with materials at various heights, including overhead.
• Safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds.
• Wear required PPE, including hairnets, gloves, smocks, and other food safety equipment.
• Work in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
