We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Porterville Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, located in the heart of Stockton, California. Porterville Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient orthopedic practice, featuring a modern 5,000-square-foot facility designed to facilitate exceptional patient care. We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive physical therapy services designed primarily for clients with private medical insurance, and we work diligently to foster an environment that encourages both patient and staff collaboration. Our team currently includes two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to excellence in service delivery.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our bustling outpatient office in Stockton, California. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. The setting is equipped with cutting-edge tools and technology, ensuring that our team can deliver the highest quality of care in a comfortable and well-supported atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately identify patient goals and treatment needs.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's individual requirements.
• Encourage patients by motivating them throughout their rehabilitation, focusing on maximizing functional abilities and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Document patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to optimize the patient's treatment plan.
• Monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Provide education and resources to patients to help them understand their conditions and the importance of compliance with therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary clientele consists of individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services. This can range from post-operative care to injury rehabilitation, allowing you to work with diverse cases and conditions. Qualifications

• Valid and current Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise development.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Experience in providing evidence-based treatment and utilizing physical therapy modalities effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
