Position Overview

TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Stockton, California. In this pivotal role, you will enhance the quality of life for our patients by promoting their physical health and functional independence. You will work collaboratively with our dedicated team of physical therapists and support staff to provide personalized rehabilitation services in our state-of-the-art facility.

Work Environment

The work setting is fully onsite, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among our multidisciplinary team that includes fellow physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Our schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life approach while ensuring that we meet the needs of our patients effectively. Our caring staff and welcoming environment guarantee a supportive day-to-day experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and requirements, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and individualized attention.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies to enhance clients' range of motion, mobility, and strength.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Utilize cost-effective approaches to rehabilitate patients, while actively reducing their dependency on medications and surgical interventions.
• Incorporate physical fitness and wellness programs that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, making adjustments as necessary to optimize patient progress.
• Document all patient treatments comprehensively and accurately to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and improve overall patient outcomes.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, supporting them in adopting healthier lifestyles.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At TheraSense, we primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our client population ranges from young athletes to active adults and seniors, each requiring tailored interventions that promote recovery and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• An unblemished professional record, free of any disciplinary actions by licensing boards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to develop tailored exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A track record of successfully managing diverse patient caseloads and achieving measurable treatment outcomes.
• Knowledge of advanced physical therapy modalities and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
