Physician Opportunity in Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek a physician for Pulmonary/Sleep (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Uniontown, PA.

The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Clinical interest should include obstructive airways disease, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, sleep, infectious lung disease or cystic fibrosis.

Qualifications: applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed internal medicine residency and pulmonary and sleep fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified or eligible in Pulmonary/Sleep medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Uniontown, PA is located approximately an hour south/east of Pittsburgh, PA and approximately 30 minutes east of Morgantown, WV. Morgantown is located just over an hour south of Pittsburgh, PA and three hours from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD.
