FBO Operations Manager

About the Role

Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced FBO Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Singapore Fixed Base Operation (FBO). This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless service delivery across Customer Service and Line & Ramp Operations while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence, safety, and customer experience.

Reporting to the Director, FBO Asia , you will provide operational leadership, oversee frontline teams, and drive collaboration across functions to ensure consistent service delivery and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of Jet Aviation's Singapore FBO, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Manage and develop the Lead Customer Service and Lead Line & Ramp teams, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
• Ensure operational readiness by overseeing manpower planning, shift coverage, resource allocation, and workforce optimisation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational decisions and first-level operational escalations.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring safety performance, SOP compliance, operational incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Champion a strong culture of safety, quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.
• Manage operational customer issues and service recovery, escalating significant matters where appropriate.
• Coordinate operational planning for peak periods, VIP movements, major events, static displays, and special missions.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with airport authorities, customers, vendors, suppliers, and operational partners.
• Monitor operational KPIs, service performance, and resource utilisation, implementing initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage operational expenditure within delegated authority while supporting effective budget utilisation.
• Collaborate closely with Training, Safety, Quality, Sales, Administration, and other support functions to ensure seamless operational delivery.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and succession planning for operational teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in aviation, airport operations, FBO, ground handling, or a similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing operational teams or team leaders.
• Strong knowledge of aviation ground operations, operational safety, risk management, and customer service.
• Good understanding of Singapore aviation regulations, airport operational requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience in workforce planning, operational performance management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence, or the ability to meet operational driving requirements.
