About This Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Oshkosh, WI. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children aged 1 to 3 years can explore, learn, and grow. You will design age-appropriate activities, foster social-emotional development, and maintain open communication with families to support each child's unique developmental milestones. You will design age-appropriate activities, foster social-emotional development, and maintain open communication with families to support each child's unique developmental milestones. What You'll Do Plan and implement daily lesson plans that promote physical, cognitive, and social development. Provide attentive care, including monitoring playtime, facilitating meals, and assisting with diapering and toilet training. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets state licensing regulations. Observe and document individual student progress to share with parents during regular updates and conferences. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 80 hours of approved early childhood training or equivalent coursework. Completion of infant and toddler development training within standard state timelines. Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them upon hire. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting process. Nice To Haves Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. One or more years of experience working specifically with toddlers in a licensed childcare facility. Knowledge of Wisconsin Registry career levels and licensing requirements.
