To support efficient healthcare operations, the full-time Outpatient Coder II will review and code outpatient medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely from designated states. Key responsibilities: Reviewing and coding outpatient medical records for accuracy and compliance Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding queries Staying updated on coding guidelines and regulations to maintain coding integrity Required qualifications: Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent Minimum of two years of outpatient coding experience Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards Ability to work independently in a remote environment
