Job Title: Lead Production Operator
Location: Roseville, MN
Compensation: $22.00-$26.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: Day shift | Monday-Friday | Hours vary by production needs

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Lead Production Operator for a manufacturing and track and trace solutions company in Roseville, MN. In this role, you'll provide hands-on leadership on the production floor, support daily operations, and help ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across the finishing department. If you enjoy leading a team, troubleshooting equipment, and working in a fast paced manufacturing environment, this could be a great next step in your career. What You'll Do as a Lead Production Operator:

Lead and support production team members, serving as the first point of contact for daily questions and issues
Coordinate and delegate work assignments based on priorities, workload, and employee skill level
Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met
Train new employees and coach team members to improve performance and skills
Troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed
Track production data including downtime, scrap, and inventory accuracy
Communicate goals, delays, and issues with supervisors and support departments

What You Need to Bring to the Lead Production Operator Role:

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Previous team lead or leadership experience preferred
Strong understanding of production workflows, equipment, and quality standards
Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs, and basic technical drawings
Basic computer skills (production systems, email, Excel or similar)
Strong problem solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast paced, hands on environment
