CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistAs a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts according to provided drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders, to manufacture parts.Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Ensure adherence to quality standards and perform necessary inspections and measurements.Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times.Collaborate with the engineering team to understand part requirements and provide feedback on manufacturability.Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.Document production data and maintain accurate records of manufactured parts.Assist in training and mentoring less experienced machinists as needed.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in CNC machining are preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CNC machining role.Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations and programming.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection techniques.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Willingness to undergo further training and development.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.About UsEvery day, the oil and gas industry's best minds put more than 150 years of experience to work to help our customers achieve lasting success.
