Eurofins companies offer a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.In 2021, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR 6.72 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.Job DescriptionPerform and support next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows, including sample preparation, library preparation, sequencing, and data reviewExecute routine molecular biology assays, including DNA/RNA extraction, purification, quantification, qPCR, and digital PCR (dPCR)Generate quality data to support IND and/or BLA filingsCommunicate results and provide input to the team and project lead through meetings and in reportsPerform quality control assessments and troubleshoot technical issues as neededFollow established laboratory procedures, SOPs, and quality guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate resultsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Completed Bachelors in a scientific concentrationExperience in Next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies is requiredExperience with routine molecular biology assays, including nucleic acid extraction and qPCR/dPCRStrong skills in data interpretation and quality controlProficient in the use of Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and electronic laboratory notebooks.Experience with GxP and working in a regulated lab environmentPreferred Experience:Familiarity with use of automation to generate data, perform data analysis, and notebook tracking to support test method executionTroubleshooting and reworking experiments based on data interpretationExperience analyzing and interpreting large data setsAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., weekend work might be expected.
