Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid, active Minnesota special education teaching license required
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
• Ability to differentiate instruction for a wide range of learning needs
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Adaptable and responsive to changing student and classroom needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students’ unique strengths and challenges
• Promote positive behavior and foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and assessments
• Engage with parents and guardians to discuss progress and recommend strategies for continued growth
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
