Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Minnesota Special Education teaching license is required
- Background in teaching at the elementary, middle, or high school level
- Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated experience adapting curriculum to meet varying student needs
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to provide tailored instruction
- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student independence and engagement
- Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to support student integration
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals, progress, and achievements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
