Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Outpatient experience required

Assignment Details

• Typically scheduled Monday through Friday
• Potential for four 10-hour shifts
• Sole provider in the clinic
• Patient population includes adolescents through geriatrics
• Caseload may include sports injuries, post-op, and neuro
• EMR: WebPT

Location Highlights

Hamden offers convenient access to both outdoor recreation and New Haven amenities. Sleeping Giant State Park is located in Hamden and features more than 30 miles of trails and a well-known stone observation tower for hiking and scenic views. The town is about 15 minutes from downtown New Haven, where clinicians can visit Yale University, the Yale University Art Gallery, and the Shubert Theatre. Hamden also provides access to the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail and is within about 90 minutes of New York City by car or rail connections from nearby New Haven.
