TITLE: Senior Digital + Marketing Strategist PURPOSE: Develop and lead integrated digital marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes for PMG clients. This role serves as the senior digital strategist across a portfolio of accounts, translating business objectives into omni-channel digital marketing programs through tactical execution while partnering closely with the Director of Digital Services to elevate PMG's digital offering. POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Digital Strategist is responsible for leading digital strategy across a portfolio of clients while ensuring hands-on execution aligns with broader marketing objectives. This individual combines strategic thinking with channel expertise to develop integrated campaigns spanning paid media, SEO, organic social, email marketing, analytics, website optimization, and emerging digital channels. This role serves as the primary digital strategist on assigned accounts, partnering with internal teams and clients to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, execute with intentionality, and deliver measurable growth. Unlike a channel specialist, this person understands how every digital channel works together throughout the customer journey.

ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead development of integrated digital marketing strategies aligned to client business goals. Translate client objectives into comprehensive digital roadmaps spanning paid, owned, earned, and shared channels. Develop customer journey maps, audience segmentation strategies, messaging frameworks, and measurement plans. Create annual digital plans, campaign strategies, testing roadmaps, and optimization recommendations. Present strategic recommendations and performance insights to executive client stakeholders. Identify new opportunities for growth through emerging channels, technologies, and consumer behavior trends. Partner with Marketing Strategists to ensure digital initiatives support broader marketing and communications objectives.

PERFORMANCE MARKETING + CHANNEL LEADERSHIP

Lead omni-channel planning and execution across a combination of the following channels: Paid Search Paid Social Display Video YouTube SEO Organic Social Email Marketing Website Optimization Analytics + Measurement Develop channel budgets, media mix recommendations, and KPI frameworks to translate strategy into successful campaign execution. Review campaign performance to identify strategic insights, not just tactical optimizations. Guide testing strategies across creative assets, audiences, messaging, landing pages, and conversion events. Ensure campaigns maintain consistent messaging and user experience across every touchpoint.

CLIENT LEADERSHIP + CONSULTING

Serve as the senior digital advisor on assigned accounts. Lead digital portions of client meetings and planning sessions. Build trusted relationships through proactive recommendations and strategic counsel. Present reporting narratives that connect marketing performance to business outcomes. Identify opportunities for account growth through expanded digital services. Support new business presentations, discovery sessions, and digital audits. Collaborate with brand, PR, and marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns. Stay ahead of industry trends, platform changes, AI advancements, and emerging technologies. Contribute to PMG's digital best practices, templates, and internal knowledge sharing. Continue to elevate and iterate PMG reporting frameworks, planning processes, and client deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 8–10+ years of digital marketing experience with demonstrated success developing integrated, multi-channel digital strategies. Agency experience is strongly preferred. Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field.
