Part-Time Janitorial Supervisor – Evening Shift

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–10:00 PM
Position: Part-Time
Company Vehicle: Provided for use while working
Benefits: Health insurance is not available for this part-time position

Advance Cleaning Contractors is seeking a dependable, professional Janitorial Supervisor to oversee evening cleaning operations, support employees, and ensure our customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The supervisor will travel between assigned customer locations, inspect work, coach employees, respond to problems, and help keep nightly operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Visit and inspect assigned customer locations throughout the evening
• Supervise and support janitorial employees working at multiple accounts
• Ensure cleaning specifications and customer expectations are being met
• Identify deficiencies and coach employees on corrective action
• Train new employees and reinforce proper cleaning procedures
• Help coordinate coverage for call-offs and staffing issues
• Deliver supplies and equipment as needed
• Communicate operational or customer concerns to management
• Complete basic nightly reports and documentation
• Perform janitorial work when necessary to support employees and maintain customer service
• Maintain and properly care for company vehicles, equipment, and supplies
• Lead by example and communicate respectfully with employees and customers

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Janitorial, custodial, maintenance, or commercial cleaning experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and people-management skills
• Dependable and comfortable working independently
• Able to make decisions and solve problems during evening operations
• Comfortable holding employees accountable in a professional manner
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening
• Must be physically capable of performing janitorial work, including walking, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment
• Must be able to meet customer-specific PPE and appearance requirements when required
