Lead Pulmonary Rehab Therapist - Respiratory Care - Full-Time

QUALIFICATIONS:
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Satisfactory completion of appropriate continuing
education specific to job requirements and Pennsylvania state requirements.
Certified in Basic Life Support and current ACLS certification.
- PURPOSE OF JOB:
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees all clinical operations of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and functions as a Hospital Respiratory Therapist.
- Serves as liaison between patient, medical director, referring providers and other rehabilitation staff.
- Ensures that all patient admission requirements, including insurance information and development of treatment plans are completed and accurate.
- Responsible to provide and ensure that all patient education is completed for the program
- Works in coordination with Clinical Manager to ensure proper scheduling, training and competency for all staff
- Ensures that program functions within budget in coordination with Clinical Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Satisfactory completion of appropriate continuing
education specific to job requirements and Pennsylvania state requirements.
Certified in Basic Life Support and current ACLS certification.
- Experience: Pulmonary Rehabilitation experience required. Experience in leadership role preferred
- Other Skills: Computer and typing skills. Interpersonal skills
