About the Role
The Company is in search of an AVP, Corporate Accounting to take on a pivotal leadership role within its corporate accounting and financial reporting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading corporate accounting, financial reporting, and global consolidation activities. This includes reviewing SEC filings, quarterly and annual financial statements, and other external reporting deliverables. The role also involves leading technical accounting research, preparing technical accounting memoranda for complex transactions, and overseeing global consolidations, intercompany accounting, and close activities. The AVP will be a key partner with executive leadership on strategic finance and accounting initiatives, driving ERP and reporting process improvements, and supporting SOX compliance, external audits, and internal control initiatives. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 9 years' progressive accounting experience, with a CPA certification required. A combination of Big Four public accounting and corporate accounting experience is preferred, although exceptional candidates coming directly from public accounting will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP, financial reporting, and experience in researching and resolving complex accounting matters. The role demands a proven ability to lead projects, improve processes, and influence cross-functional stakeholders. While experience with Workday, Workiva, or Power BI is a plus, it is not essential. The company is seeking a technically strong accounting professional who is ready to move beyond routine reporting and make a significant impact on accounting strategy, financial reporting excellence, and process transformation within a global organization.
