About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President, Tax to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of tax reporting projects and key workstreams, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance in coordination with external advisors. This role involves a deep dive into partnership tax, corporate tax, and international tax matters, with a focus on strategic initiatives. The AVP, Tax will also be involved in reviewing and supporting various tax activities, including partnership tax allocations, capital accounts, and trial balances, as well as assisting with tax analysis related to acquisitions, dispositions, and cross-border transactions. Applicants should have 7-9 years' of tax experience, with a background that includes a combination of Big Four public accounting and in-house tax experience. A strong understanding of partnership structures and investment management entities is essential, particularly within the context of asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or financial services. While a CPA is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate for this role at the company is a tax professional seeking greater ownership and exposure to sophisticated investment structures, and who is eager to contribute to the shaping of tax reporting and strategic initiatives at a premier alternative investment platform.
