Schedule:

• Afternoons or Overnights Available
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Requirements

Experience in an industrial or production type setting

Responsible for production of materials

Demonstrated ability to relationship to relationship building experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.80 - $31.45 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Work Location: Rome, NY. In our name, you see the great American patriot, Paul Revere. Many of us learned of Revere in grade school as immortalized by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, "Paul Revere's Ride." An active patriot during the Revolutionary War, Revere was also a silversmith by trade. This trade allowed him to finance work in the casting of iron, bronze bells, cannons, along with the forging of copper bolts and spikes. In 1800 he became the first American to successfully roll copper into sheets for use as sheathing on "Old Ironsides" and other naval vessels. In 1801, Revere became a pioneer in the production of rolled copper, opening North America's first copper mill south of Boston. His company's sheet copper was used to cover the original wooden dome of the Massachusetts State House in 1802. After Revere's death, generations of Revere's descendants' remained active in the business. The copper works founded in 1801 continues today as Revere Copper Products, Inc. in Rome NY, our company, which gives us the honor of being among America's oldest manufacturing companies.
