Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team on a travel basis. The successful candidate will work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with an immediate start date. This position involves assisting in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and supporting various surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, and Robotics. The role requires the ability to efficiently scrub in three specialty areas and work effectively within a team to ensure patient safety and care quality. Prior experience, BLS certification from AHA, and a Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license are required.


Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing operating rooms and maintaining sterile fields
• Scrub in multiple specialty areas as needed
• Pass instruments and sutures to the physician
• Ensure adherence to aseptic and safety protocols
• Transport and position patients
• Care for biological specimens
• Support team planning and execution
• Maintain facility policies on sanitation and sterilization
• Adapt care to meet patients' cultural, developmental, and psychosocial needs

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Certified Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN license

Work Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
