Pay Range: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, depending on prior experience.

• A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or equivalent experience of at least one year working with adults and children with neurological disorders.
• Ability to work independently within the department.
• A valid Speech Pathology license in the state (where applicable) or actively gaining the necessary supervisory experience for licensure.
• Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
• Preferred membership in the Speech Language Hearing Association.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation.

The Speech Therapist will:

• Deliver ongoing therapy to clients as per physician orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate client progress within the agency.
• Evaluate and treat clients, liaising with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members while maintaining accurate documentation of services.
• Develop effective treatment plans based on physician requests and secure approval for services.
• Initiate prescribed treatments and update physicians on client progress.
• Ensure proper documentation in compliance with state, federal, and third-party payer regulations.
• Adhere to the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
• Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

• Preferred Experience: 1 year working with adults and children with neurological disorders, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Required Education: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Required Licenses & Certifications: Valid Speech Therapist license.
