SMB Business Account Executive, Comcast Business (SE Houston)

Job Summary Responsible for the sale of integrated communication structures to small‑to‑medium business customers. Develops relationships with individual businesses and the community, positioning the Comcast brand as a key component of the sales strategy. Responsibilities Assist with the creation and delivery of face‑to‑face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services. Promote the sale of bundled products to ensure the best solution for the customer. Sell with goals of exceeding departmental, financial, and unit targets. Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Services. Generate new leads through cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships. Focus on goal achievement and drive results. Assist in developing sales territory, including cultivating local business partnerships and organizational affiliations. Retain the customer base by delivering on the Comcast Credo and ensuring a superior customer experience. Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention; collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels exceed expectations. Prepare sales and activity reports as required. Participate in out‑of‑the‑office meetings with customers, demonstrating excellent verbal and written skills and proficiency in presenting, persuading, and negotiating. Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; applicants with relevant coursework or extensive professional experience may also be considered. Relevant work experience: 0–2 years in sales or related field. Skills: adaptability, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, customer‑focused approach, persuasion, professional integrity, resilience, technical knowledge, and workplace organization. Compensation & Benefits Base Pay : $53,500.00 Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission) : $83,500.00 Eligible for commission and comprehensive benefits.
