Position Overview: The Member Experience Specialist will be a key player in driving membership sales and ensuring top-notch customer service within our gym. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for fitness, and the ability to build strong relationships with members and prospective members. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for all gym visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Membership Sales: Proactively engage with prospective members to understand their fitness goals and offer tailored membership options. Conduct tours of the facility, explain membership benefits, and close sales.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to existing members by addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. Handle membership inquiries, process requests, and follow up on member feedback.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage membership database CRM to drive sales, process new member registrations, renewals, and cancellations. Maintain accurate records and handle financial transactions.
• Promotion and Marketing: Support the implementation of promotional campaigns and special offers. Assist in organizing events and activities to attract and retain members.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure that the gym is clean, organized, and welcoming. Report any facility issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is preferred. Experience in a fitness environment is a plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Attitude: Enthusiastic, outgoing, and motivated with a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
• Technical Skills: Computer proficiency and experience with membership management software is a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
