Data Steward

Duties and Responsibilities Work with internal/external customers to understand, research & correct data issues Collaborate with IT departments to create reporting data that meets Coke System requirements Work with source systems to integrate data feeds & confirm accuracy Adhere to established validation processes & document for SOC Audits Prioritize tasks for file transfer partners Integrate into customer teams by anticipating requirements & delivering exceptional service in the analysis & understanding of raw data Provide reporting details to help stakeholders of varying technical/business expertise understand data issues Become an SME in how data is used in downstream systems & direct stakeholders to appropriate teams to answer system-specific questions Offer guidance & enable stakeholders to make informed business decisions from data provided by customers Proactively automate repetitive processes Act as the primary POC for source system data questions Key Skills and Abilities Proficiency in handling extensive data sets and identifying anomalies, as well as problems that contribute to failures. Knowledge of the Coca-Cola Bottler Franchise System. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in SQL. Foundational knowledge of relational data principles. Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and syntax Expertise in utilizing the Microsoft suite of tools, including Power BI Education Requirements Minimum: High School or GED — with related experience Years of Experience 3+ years of experience in a technical data steward-type role. Required Travel Willingness and ability to travel as required by the business. CCBSS operates a hybrid working environment. This is a teleworking role that requires working at a CCBSS office location on a regular basis (or a minimum number of days per month or week) at the manager’s discretion. The number of days required at a CCBSS office location is at the manager’s discretion and may change based on business needs.
