Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individualized learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and related documentation processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specially designed instruction to students with a range of disabilities, tailoring techniques to meet individual needs
• Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic, emotional, and social growth
• Assess student progress regularly, modifying instructional approaches as needed
• Communicate regularly with families and related service providers to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations
