Role Overview

As the Events & Sponsorship Manager , you will be the driving force behind XPENG’s physical presence in France. You are responsible for bringing our "Smart EV" vision to life through high-impact events and the strategic management of our prestigious partnership with TOP 14 Rugby League . This is a highly operational role ; we need a "doer" who thrives in the field and possesses a deep understanding of the automotive event landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Execution (Events, Motor Shows & Beyond)

• End-to-end Management: Lead the planning, logistics, and execution of XPENG’s participation in various events and Motor Shows (e.g., Mondial de l’Auto 2026).
• On-site Operations: Act as the primary point of contact on-site, managing booth construction, vehicle logistics, staffing, and technical requirements.
• Lead Generation: Design event workflows that maximize visitor engagement and data collection to fuel the sales pipeline.

Sponsorship Management (TOP 14 Partnership)

• Partnership Activation: Serve as the main liaison for our TOP 14 partnership. Turn the sponsorship into a living brand experience.
• Hospitality & VIP Programs: Organise high-end hospitality experiences at matches for clients, partners, and media.
• Brand Integration: Ensure XPENG’s visibility and values are perfectly aligned with the rugby ecosystem across all touchpoints.

Budget & Vendor Management

• ROI Driven: Manage the annual events and sponsorship budget, ensuring maximum impact for every Euro spent.
• Supplier Network: Negotiate and manage relationships with agencies, stand-builders, and logistics providers.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in event management, specifically within the automotive industry .
• Motor Show Expert: You have a proven track record of managing large-scale booths and vehicle logistics. You know how to navigate the complexities of trade show organizers.
• Rugby/Sports Affinity: Experience managing sports sponsorships (ideally within French Rugby) is a significant advantage.
• Operational Mindset: You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. You are a problem-solver who can handle last-minute technical glitches or logistical hurdles with ease.
• Language: Fluent in French and English (working with global teams is a daily requirement).
• Mobility: Willingness to work weekends during events and travel extensively across France.
