CT Technologist

Role Overview Provide diagnostic CT scan services, producing high-quality images for physician diagnosis and treatment. Ensure patient care with discretion and good judgment, assist radiologists with special examinations, and demonstrate proficiency with RIS and PACS systems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, perform routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks, and report technical issues promptly. Utilize proper positioning, technical factors, and radiation safety principles to ensure diagnostic accuracy and patient safety. Qualifications and Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Valid NJ Radiology license ARRT Certification BLS certification from the American Heart Association Previous CT experience required Preferred: CT Certification Key Responsibilities Assist with specialized examinations Maintain equipment and supply levels Use RadCode for billing procedures Ensure proper radiation protection and image quality Perform calibration, quality checks, and report equipment issues Skills Technical proficiency with imaging systems Strong judgment and discretion Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
