Material Handler

Job Overview

• Ensure accuracy, security, and accountability of inventory
• Support warehouse and production operations
• Handle receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and inventory integrity

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and system updates
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in assigned locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare shipments following quality standards
• Perform physical inventory counts and support cycle counting
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness
• Record all inventory transactions for reporting and data entry
• Support inventory replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels
• Transport materials safely within the facility
• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating protocols
• Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience
• Experience with: Inventory management, picking and packing, general warehouse operations
• Familiarity with RF scanner usage
• Basic knowledge of inventory control processes
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move materials (as required)
• Ability or willingness to learn material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
• Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 02 years of related experience preferred
• Experience in production or general labor roles is a plus
• Comfortable using inventory systems and scanning technology
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
