We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate client financial records and assisting with routine accounting and payroll tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for assigned clients.
• Enter and categorize daily financial transactions.
• Perform bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations.
• Review transactions and make basic corrections when needed.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Process basic client payroll and related entries.
• Prepare and file payroll tax forms (Forms 940 , 941 , and RT-6)
• Maintain basic depreciation and fixed asset records.
• Communicate with clients to request missing records or information.
• Keep client accounts organized and up to date.
• Assist the accounting team with other routine bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client accounts.
• Comfortable communicating with clients in a professional manner.
• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is a plus.
• Spanish Speaker is a plus
