The remote nature of this role allows for flexibility in your scheduled hours, and we proudly operate from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, accommodating various client schedules while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to support individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records while adhering to legal, ethical, and best practice standards.

• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure that clients receive comprehensive care.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain updated on the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor with Somerset Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse array of clients who seek assistance with various challenges, including mental health disorders, substance misuse, trauma, and relational issues. Our aim is to provide a welcoming environment that encourages clients to express their concerns and work towards effective solutions. You will specifically focus on individual therapy as well as group therapy settings, enhancing the communal support system for clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or closely related discipline.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly within a clinical context.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of counseling.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse client populations.
