About the Role:

The Poured Foundation Foreman/Crew Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the successful execution of poured concrete foundation projects within the construction industry. This position is responsible for managing and directing a crew to ensure that all foundation work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The foreman coordinates with project managers, vendors, and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency and resolve any onsite challenges promptly. They ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes while maintaining clear communication with all team members. Ultimately, the role is pivotal in delivering durable, structurally sound foundations that form the essential base for construction projects in our area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in poured concrete foundation work within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role managing construction crews.
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixes forming, pouring, finishing, and curing processes.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in concrete technology or construction management.
• Experience with blueprint reading and construction layout.
• Previous experience working on commercial or large-scale residential construction projects.
• Proficiency with construction management software or digital reporting tools.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a crew of laborers and skilled tradespeople in the preparation, forming, and pouring of concrete foundations.
• Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed on the job site to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure foundation specifications and blueprints are accurately followed.
• Manage equipment and material logistics, including ordering supplies and maintaining tools to support uninterrupted workflow.
• Train and mentor crew members to improve skills, productivity, and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed foundations to guarantee compliance with quality and structural requirements.
• Document daily activities, labor hours, and any incidents or delays, providing detailed reports to management.
