Job Description

The Cleanroom Production Operator works in a controlled production environment to manufacture products, perform sanitation and cleaning tasks, and support various departments as needed. This entry-level role involves setting up and operating pre-production equipment and machinery, completing basic data entry and documentation, and following established procedures to ensure consistent product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products in a cleanroom production environment by following established procedures and work instructions.
• Set up and operate pre-production equipment and machines safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular sanitation and cleaning tasks in the production area and support other departments with cleaning as needed.
• Complete basic data entry and documentation accurately to record production activities and results.
• Follow written and oral instructions to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Assist in general labor and general production tasks, including moving materials and organizing work areas.
• Work in related areas such as warehouse, assembly, or GMP environments as needed to support operations.
• Maintain attention to detail while monitoring equipment, materials, and product quality.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, including up to 10 hours per day, to perform production and cleaning tasks.
• Lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, and safely climb ladders or move under equipment when required for production or sanitation activities.

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day in a production environment.
• Capability to follow written and oral instructions accurately and consistently.
• Strong attention to detail when operating equipment, handling materials, and completing documentation.

• Relatable experience in production, warehouse, assembly, or GMP environments.
• Ability to set up and operate pre-production equipment and machines.
• Basic data entry skills and ability to complete documentation clearly and accurately.
• Demonstrated good tenure in previous roles, showing reliability and consistency.
• Willingness to perform general labor and general production tasks as part of daily responsibilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in cleanroom or controlled production environments is beneficial.
• Experience in sanitation or cleaning within production, warehouse, assembly, or GMP settings is a plus.
• Comfort working across different departments to support changing operational needs.
• Ability to adapt to different shifts and schedules as required by production demands.
• Strong work ethic and desire to grow into advanced roles after training and demonstrated performance.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cleanroom and production facility that emphasizes sanitation, organization, and adherence to procedures. Team members may work on first shift (6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), second shift (2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.), or third shift (10:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.), depending on operational needs. Work involves standing and walking for long periods, performing physically active tasks, and operating production equipment and machinery in a structured, process-driven environment. The facility follows GMP-related practices, and employees may rotate between production, warehouse, and assembly areas to support overall operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
