Vascular Access Consultant - PICC RN
$50 - $70 per hourPrime Providers
Company Description VIC the PICC is a comprehensive Vascular Access Company. We provide PICC and Midline insertions, Peripheral Venous Access as well as Continuing Education, Precepting and Consulting for Hospitals, Long-Term Care and other Healthcare Facilities. VIC the PICC offers the following services 24/7/365:
- PICC/Midline Placement with Ultrasound
- ECG Guidance Technology for PICC Confirmation
- Peripheral IV Insertions
- Declotting
- Line Removal
- Port Access
- 24/7/365 Triage Nursing Services
- Place PICCs, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation.
- Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices.
- Provide a wide range of vascular access including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting PICCs, etc.
- Educate nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and many other CVAD's
- Registered Nurse with current license
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in acute care preferred
- Experienced in PICC placements with ultrasound
- Have and maintain current CPR certification
- Possess a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to work independently
- Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs
- Must possess a smart phone
- Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to patient sites
