\n• Care of Common Medical Conditions (Diabetes, Heart Failure, COPD & asthma exacerbation, pneumonia, kidney disease, electrolyte imbalances, GI disorders, Hypertension, Infectious disease, Liver Disease). \n

\n• IV Therapy & Procedures \n
\n
\n• Patient Monitoring \n
\n
\n• Care Coordination \n
\n
\n• Time Management & Organization \n

\n• Communication & Professional Development \n

\nRN will work with: \n

\n• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT \n

\nNumber of beds on unit: \n
\n
\n• 26 (Unit shares space with the oncology team) \n
\n
\n• 14 Medicine Beds \n
\n
\n• 12 Oncology Beds \n
\n

\nRequired Qualifications: \n
\n

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
  \n
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
  \n
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
  \n
  \n Preferred Qualifications :

  • BSN
  \n
  • Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
