Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and establish personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client-specific challenges.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, connecting them to additional resources, support systems, and community services as needed.

• Maintain thorough, confidential, and accurate records of client interactions, therapy sessions, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques and referral processes to ensure clients receive immediate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at BlueHeal, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults struggling with various mental health conditions, substance abuse issues, and co-occurring disorders. You will engage with individuals seeking help for anxiety, depression, trauma, dating and relationship issues, along with family dynamics, fostering an inclusive environment where every client feels heard and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (LCSW), Counseling (LPCC), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or related field is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license in your area of expertise: LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing mental health counseling is preferred, with exposure to a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms to deliver services effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Ideal candidates will have between 2 to 4 years of direct experience working with individuals experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges, particularly in areas involving substance abuse and dual-diagnosis treatment.

• Experience in conducting group therapy, facilitating workshops, or educational sessions on mental health topics will be considered an asset.

• Experience working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

BlueHeal offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
