Product Designer - TikTok User Growth

About the Role Product Designer on TikTok's User Growth team focused on designing and optimizing product experiences across tablet, foldable, mobile and web platforms to drive user engagement and growth. Collaborate with PMs, researchers, writers and engineers to prototype, iterate based on data and deliver pixel‑perfect designs for global markets. Role Product Designer on the User Growth (UG) Design Team responsible for designing experiences that increase user engagement and expand TikTok’s global user base across multiple devices and platforms (tablet, foldable/flip devices, web, and emerging platforms). Key Responsibilities Design product experiences for TikTok on tablet, foldable/flip devices, and web that target global users. Partner with cross‑functional teams including product managers, researchers, UX writers, and engineers throughout the product lifecycle. Rapidly prototype conceptual ideas, create user flows informed by data and research, gather stakeholder feedback, iterate, and deliver polished designs. Own and continuously optimize overall product experience and design details through launch and beyond. Requirements (Minimum Qualifications) Proven experience in UX and UI design, having led multiple design projects from strategy to launch with strong attention to detail. Familiarity with design systems for mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms. Ability to iterate quickly, generate many design concepts, accept feedback, and maintain a patient, open‑minded attitude. Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with rapid change and ambiguous situations. Excellent communication skills to articulate concepts, vision, and design decisions. Global product perspective and interest in international internet products and markets. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing consumer‑facing products across mobile, tablet, and web. Experience with A/B testing and data‑driven design practices. Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across an organization. Familiarity with front‑end programming and prototyping tools. Experience building AI agents and using Vibe Coding is a plus. Passion for TikTok and its community. Base salary range for the selected city: $108000 - $220400 annually. Role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units (RSUs).
