Fund Accountant

- Manage daily fund accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, NAV calculations, and investor reports.
- Reconcile cash, positions, and transactions across multiple accounts.
- Collaborate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and systems.
- Monitor fund performance and provide detailed analysis to stakeholders.
- Support regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with financial services industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
The Successful Applicant A successful Fund Accountant/Operations should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in financial reporting and compliance within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000.
